Calafia State Beach

This well-loved state beach access point is ready for a full refresh! We will clean up and beautify the entrance area, parking lot, picnic zones, and pathways so visitors get a true San Clemente welcome. Key tasks include:

• Cleaning and updating all signage (including the main wooden Calafia entrance sign), peeling stickers and graffiti, and replacing or repairing damaged signs

• Power-washing and painting the trash enclosure / storage building area • Replacing trash cans and adding fresh gravel where needed

• Sweeping curbs, weeding, and general trash cleanup throughout the parking and picnic areas

• Refreshing the triangular roundabout / planter island with cleanup, new plantings or gravel, and general beautification • Repairing or replacing damaged blue tile on the picnic tables / front seating area

• Slurry seal and asphalt patching as needed
